Ward Goodman Hit The Road

Dorset Tour

Ward Goodman and The Weymouth Vehicle Preservation Society held the thirty first Dorset Tour on Sunday 26th May, at  Lodmoor Country Park, Weymouth.

Sixty eight vintage vehicles took part, which included the Mayor of Weymouth, and club member, Councillor Graham Winter, who drove his Marina camper (photo attached)

The event is solely run by club members and volunteers, and has been sponsored and supported by Ward Goodman, for the past seven years, as part of their community and charity support in the Dorset community.

The fifty mile run, saw an array of vintage vehicles make their way through the Dorset countryside, taking in key points of interest, as part of their fundraising initiative, in aid of the Weldmar Hospice in Dorchester, chosen by the club members as their charity for the year.
