At Ward Goodman we strive to our current values of being EPIC.

This new chapter is about combining trusted expertise with fresh energy, ensuring Ward Goodman remains as relevant and impactful in the next 70 years as we have been in the last.

We want to set out our values in the use of AI as a business, to our Clients, Strategic Partners, Prospects and Contractors. Our use of AI at Ward Goodman is based on 4 key principles:

Ensuring we make use of new technology innovations like AI to enable us to be Exceptional, Proactive, Innovative and Collaborative at all times. Our use of AI, and this AI statement will be continually reviewed to ensure it meets the needs of our clients, partners and team.

#2 Peace of Mind and Trust

At all times we will ensure we are following best practice from industry and governing bodies in our use of AI to maintain client peace of mind and trust. We do this by having documented checks and procedures to ensure our use of AI benefits the customer, is accurate, free from bias and harm.

#3 Transparency

At all times we will be collaborative and transparent in how and where we will, and will not use, AI to improve our service to you. Any use of AI will be consistent with our commitment to safety and security of your data, our obligations under GDPR and work in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Additionally we will follow any guidance from our regulators.

#4 Human Centred

We believe it is important to maintain human connections with our clients and our use of AI tools should support our promises as set out in our Client Charter.

We want to enable our team to be EPIC through proactive training and development to work with AI to have more time on value added tasks.

Examples of our use of AI might include:

Using AI tools to transcribe meeting notes for consistency and accuracy
Marketing purposes such as blogs, case studies and social content
Summarising initial research

And will not include:

Formulate or provide advice
Make client decisions or replace human judgment
Process or share personal data without consent
Compromise confidentiality, ethics, or regulatory compliance
