Adrian commented: “I get great satisfaction from knowing my advice can ease worries many people feel when it comes to their issues surrounding financial planning. It’s often a surprise for people to learn how we, as advisers, can often help. For example we are often approached for advice on the right equity release product, or it may be to explain the benefits to a client if they top up their pension. But for me, the most rewarding cases I find are ones where we are able to help people find ways to pay for their loved ones care costs. At the younger end of the market, I am often asked to help people find a mortgage, as often circumstances do not fit into standardised boxes that most lenders insist on being ticked. I am often asked to simplify financial jargon for a client, resulting in them being able to make informed decisions. It’s about giving someone more financial control, freedom and peace of mind. Being part of the Ward Goodman team allows me full access to technical expertise required for more complicated situations some clients face. Our firm covers all aspects of accountancy, tax planning and trust planning.”
