Just a few weeks ago, Ward Goodman Accountants and Financial Advisors moved into their new offices at St Mary’s House, 24 North Street in Wareham. They now have more modern functional offices with a space to hold meetings and events. Offering accountancy, tax, small business and financial services, the new office is in a more central location within the town.
Historically there have been accountants at their old West Street office for over 35 years. The office was originally serving the Purbeck and South Dorset areas as local market offices for small businesses that didn’t want to travel into the suburbs. Ward Goodman acquired the practice from the Hendersons in June 2010. They brought to Wareham additional expertise and the full services of the 50+ staff in accountancy, tax, charities and trusts and financial services, already available in the market towns of Wimborne and Shaftesbury.
The new office in Wareham is at St Mary’s House, 24 North Street was once home to NFU insurance, and more recently, the haberdashery shop.
