Our Directors are:
Ian is a qualified Chartered Accountant and auditor with over 18 years experience. Ian has previously worked for a ‘big 4 firm’ in Bournemouth, Southampton and Bristol. Since moving back to Poole Ian has specialized in the audit of medium sized companies and groups including charities, pension schemes & FSA registered organizations.
Following Gareth’s degree in Taxation & Law he trained with a large IFA firm before joining Ward Goodman Financial Services in 2003. Gareth’s clients include business owners, professionals such as accountants and lawyers as well as a retired IFA. Many of his clients have been referred to him which is testament to the high level of service provided and the trust that has been built up. He is also responsible for some of the firm’s key business relationships which include joint-ventures with local law firms.
Richard is a qualified Certified Accountant with over 20 years of experience, gained in practice and industry. Richard heads up our Outsourcing team at Ward Goodman, which provides clients with outsourced finance functions that free up business owners time, reduces risk and delivers timely and quality information to make better decisions.
David is a triple qualified chartered accountant, chartered tax adviser and trust and estate practitioner. David heads up the energetic tax department, which splits its time between relieving clients from the problems of dealing with HM Revenue and Customs compliance and helping clients benefit from effective tax planning.
Roger is a qualified Certified Accountant with over 20 years of experience. Roger runs the Small Business Unit at Ward Goodman, which specializes in accounting, advice and bookkeeping services for small and start up businesses.
Terry is a commercially focused Chartered Accountant who a specialises in providing advice to owner managed businesses. Terry’s Top 10 firm training, alongside time in industry and running his own practice, has enabled him to use his wide ranging skill set to advise business clients of all sizes at Ward Goodman. Terry enjoys dealing with the more commercial side of accountancy such as non exec FD roles, acquisitions, business modelling and forecasting and retirement planning as well as dealing with the more traditional compliance work.
